Yahoo is aiming to eliminate one of the most irritating
aspects of computing today: the Yahoo Password Recovery scenario. May be a few
people aware about the fact that yahoo
had launched a new service called
"on-demand" passwords, which lets somebody log into a Yahoo account
using a short password, the company texts to their phone, instead of having remembered their own password.
Here's how it works: You log into your Yahoo account using your normal passwords. In the security settings, you turn on on-demand passwords and register your cell phone. After that when you attempt to login, the password field is replaced by a button that says "send my password," and the company texts a four-character password to your phone.
Today, we're hoping to make that procedure less
anxiety-inducing by introducing on-demand passwords, which are texted to your
mobile phone when you require them. You no longer have to remember a complex
password to sign in to your account. Once you're logged into Yahoo, click on
your name in the top right corner and head to the account info page and choose
"security" in the left bar over there. To opt in to "on -demand
passwords," just click on the slider. You will have to enter your mobile phone
number so that Yahoo can text you a verification code. Enter the code into the
Yahoo sign-in box and you're up and running on Yahoo. so all in all yahoo recovery password is quite easy for users .
